Introduction to Funeral

Live Streaming and Recording

There are occasions when distance, health or other circumstances
can mean that some family and friends are not able to attend
a funeral to say goodbye and pay their respects. The restrictions that applied during COVID made this more of an issue.

Live Streaming (sometimes called webcasting) and Recording enables those who are unable to attend in person the opportunity to participate, say goodbye and watch the funeral for themselves, in real time,
or later, over the internet from almost anywhere
in the world.

Rob Aldread is the Director of Music at Dronfield Parish Church and
he learnt how to live stream through setting up the church with a
system to broadcast services to the
congregation and community.

Some Funeral Directors then approached Rob for help, so he
purchased his own set of equipment such that he could offer a high quality, live streaming and recording service at a fair price.
